What this site is
Textiles for SDGs is an independently operated resource about connections between textiles and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. It is intended for readers who want an understandable route from a textile question to the sources behind it.
This domain previously hosted a Textile Exchange project. The present site is a new publication. It is not operated by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Textile Exchange or the United Nations. Historical links may still lead here; the pages now contain new, original explanations rather than copies of the former site’s material.
Editorial approach
We use primary sources where possible, distinguish framework targets from product claims, and avoid declaring a fiber or garment “sustainable” without a defined basis. When a question depends on a supply chain or local collection system, we say so.
Corrections and source suggestions can be sent through the contact route listed on the Contact page once it is published. This local build contains no active correspondence channel.
